Flint Hill Man

Shot and Killed

George William Pullen, Sr;, 41, of Flint Hill was pronounced dead on arrival at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, Saturday evening of gunshot wounds of the head. Rasby Marshall Clark, 72, also of Flint Hill, and father-in-law of the victim, was charged with the <?rime and lodged in Rappahannock County jail by Sheriff Charles K. Estes. The shooting followed a family dispute. Clark was released Monday on $10,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing tentatively set for Friday, October 29 at 2 p.m.

Wrecks Minor

Two pickup trucks were involved in a collision and a deer was struck by a motorist in the past week according to information provided by investigating state officers. Last Tuesday evening about 7:45 p.m. on Route 707 near Slate Mills, Stoney Frye of Boston operating a 69 Ford pickup was struck by a 70 Chevrolet pickup driven by Erser Robert Dodson of Sperryville. The vehicles met on a curve and collided, according to Trooper W. A. Bun tin. No injury resulted and Dodson was cited for reckless driving. Damage to the trucks was recorded at $200 to the one owned by Frye and at $250 to the Dodson truck.
