Charles W. Ricketts
Charles William Ricketts of Washington, Va. died October 6, 1971 in Warren Memorial Hospital. He was 51. A funeral service was held Friday at 11 a.m. at 'furner Funeral Home, Front Royal with burial in the Culpeper National Cemetery. Mr. Ricketts, a state highway department employee, was born in Travillha, Md., the son of William T. Ricketts and Helen Virginia^CTlw Ricketts. He was an Army vraran of World War II. Surviving are his wife Kathleen; four sons, Steven E. Hunter, David E. Ricketts, Charles M. Ricketts, Jr., DouglasL. Ricketts; three daughters, Kathleen E. Ricketts, and Mrs. Dale E. Burke, all of Washington, Va., and Mrs. Cynthia E. Shaw, Las Vegas, Nev., and four grandchildren.
He was the brother of William T. Ricketts, Jr., Bethesda, Md.; Harry Ricketts, Cabin John, Md., Hazel Ricketts and Mrs. Dorothy V. Smith, Rockville; David M. Ricketts and Mrs. Alice Boby, Upper Marlboro, Md.; Mrs. Katherine Smith, Gaithersburg, Md.; Mrs. Judy Alvord, Clarksburg, Md.; Mrs. Lucille Reid, Derwood, Md. and Mrs. Betty Harrison of Washington, Va.
