Paid Political Advertisement The Facts About Re-Districting in Rappahannock County: 1. Re-Districting was required by the new Virginia Constitution, and was also required by the Supreme Court "one man, one vote” ruling. 2. The Rappahannock County Planning Commission openly studied the possibilities and unanimously recommended the enacted plan. 3. A public hearing was advertised for two editions in the Rappahannock News, and there was not a single objection at the public hearing. 4. The Supervisors unanimously passed the present plan. 5. The plan was reviewed by the State's Attorney-General's office without objection, 7. Each new district has not more than a 3% difference in population. 8. No alternate plan was submitted by anyone.
