Captain and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer and daughter Nicole of Bruckenau, Germany arrived at Dulles Airport last Wednesday and are spending some time with Mrs. Maeyer’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Maeyer and Dr. Quaintance were in Williamsburg to see the William and Mary-West Virginia football game. Mr. and Mrs. George Bynes of Arlington were their afternoon visitors Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding and children Hayden and Cady of Centreville were guests from Saturday to Monday of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Skeen of Palmyra were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Yates and in the afternoon visited Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pullen and family in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Johnson of Zanesville, Ohio visited relatives and friends in the vicinty during the weekend. Saturday Mr. Johnson and Miss Louise Johnson visited Lawrence “Billy” Johnson in the VA Hospital in Salem. Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Boze of LaCrosse sprat the weekend at their home here.
