The best points to view in the North District are at Jenkins Gap (Mile 12.5) and just south of Jeremys Run Overlook (Milepost 27). Estimated coloration for the Central District is now 25 percent change at Skyland, Bigg Meadows, and Hawksbill Gap areas - possibly 30 percent by this weekend. Hie most scienic view of red color in the South District is between 'McCormick Gap and Beagle Gap (Mileposts 102 and 99). Big Meadows, Matthews Arm, and Loft Mountain Campgrounds will remain open until October 25, with the exception of Big Meadows, a portion of which will remain open throughout the winter months. The ARA-Virginia Sky-Line Company will continue to provide their visitor services until November 1, with the exception of Panorama Restaurant, which will remain open on a moderated schedule.
