Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton were callers Sunday evening

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton were callers Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Button at Jeffersonton. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Nethers returned to their home Saturday after a week’s trip which took them as far south as Atlanta, Ga. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. H. M. F. Palmer of Salem. Mrs. Paul Newton and children were overnight guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley and returned to their home in Etlan Monday evening. Mrs. Julia Curtis returned home Monday after spending a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heflin and family at The Plains. During her absence Mrs. J. L. Walter visited her Son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Riley. Mrs. John Poe, Mrs. Nelson Corbin and J. R. Poe spent Sunday in Arlington where they visited Mrs. Raymond Welch and accompanied her to Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital to visit Mr. Welch who is a surgical patient. Mrs. Richard Pierson is in Columbus, Ohio visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Dyer who has undergone eye surgery. She will be joined Friday by Mr. Pierson and children and they will attend the wedding this weekend of Mr. Pierson’s sister, Miss Judy Pierson. Mrs. Sally Mann of Oxon Hill, Md. spent Sunday with her mother Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan. Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Stirman and children Becky and Roy and Mrs. Robert Vetter were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Settle at Rambling Ridge Farm. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Miller of East Hampton, Conn, are spending this week with Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham at Viewtown and Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle. Overnight guests Tuesday of the
