IN THE fourth period Woodlawn was awarded, on three separate occasions, three goals by the referee, who penalized Casanova for actions considered by the referee to be dangerous and excessive rough riding. The Casanova foursome came back in the fifth and sixth periods scoring two additional goals.
Scoring was as follows for Casanova: Gulick, 3; Hourahan, 2; Claffy, 2. The lone Woodlawn field goal was scored in the fifth period by Buzz Rogers of Gainesville.
Spectators at the match were impressed with the play of Butch Eastham who for the first time was seen in action on the Virginia polo circuit. Butch is now becoming a regular member of the Casanova Team.
THIS COMING Sunday an all Rappahannock team of Glenn Hourahan, Jim Hourahan, Butch Eastham, and John Lyle will ride for Casanova at the Casanova Polo Field in Warrenton against a team from Fort Belvoir. Game time will be 3:30. A second Casanova team headed by Joe Claffy and John Gulick will travel to Carlisle. Pa. □
