Another step has been taken toward establishing Ferry Farm, the boyhood home of George Washington, as a National Historic Site, Congressman William L. Scott reports.

“The suitability study, resulting from the introduction of my bill to acquire and preserve Washington’s boyhood home, has been completed by the Northeast Region of the National Park Service. Now Park Service Management is reviewing and evaluating the report, and will make a recommendation to Secretary of Interior R.C. B. Morton,” said the Virginia lawmaker.
