Rebecca Sue Myers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy E. Myers Sr. of Clear Spring, Md., became the bride of Edward Everett Clark, Jr. on Saturday, August 5. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Everett Clark, Sr. of Flint Hill. The ceremony was performed at the Hagerstown Bible Church, Hagerstown, Md. by the Rev. Gerald D. Carbaugh who was assisted by the Rev. John Goodman.
Miss Myers wore an empire styled silk organza with a sheer yoke bordered and collared in pearl embroidered peau d’ ange lace. The same lace overlaid the raised waistline, cuffed the long pouf sleeves and appeared finally to enrich the flaring skirt and diaphanous chapel train.
Complementing this was her matching headpiece of pearled lace and organza petals from which her veil of imported illusion was arranged. She carried a long cascade of white and pink rosebuds.
The bride’s attendants appeared in white and pink gowns covered with pink rosebuds designed and created by the bride. Maid of honor was Miss Teresa Lynn Myers of Clear Spring and matron of honor was Mrs. Mary Beth Flory of Bridgewater, both sisters of the bride. • Bridesmaids were Mrs. Christina Bless of Ashton,
