Election in Rappahannock turned out about as in all other sections of the State; Godwin winning with a small margin in the Governor’s race; Dalton taking the office of Lt. Governor; Miller sliding in with an easy victory in his race to retain the office of Attorney General.
D. French Slaughter Jr., incumbent for the House of Delegate’s seat in the Twenty Fifth District, held a very wide margin over his opponent for reelection.
In the county election, Mrs. Frances Foster had no opposition for the position of Treasurer and polled a total of 1092 votgs.
