Supervisor Herbert Foster was of the opinion that “if they’d revise some of the laws on juveniles, we wouldn’t have all these problems. The laws are too loose on these juveniles!”
‘ ‘That may well be true, ” Judge Moffett replied. “But it really has got nothing to do with this request.”
“We’ve got no law. You can’t do anything with them when you get them up,” Foster persisted.
“I get maybe 15 to 20 cases a month here. There may be that many every day in Fauquier or Loudoun,” said Judge Moffett. “I’m inclined to agree with you, but you’ll have to go to the local legislation representative to seek changes in the General Assembly if you want the laws changed.”
