Rappahannock approve the district arrangement tor the juvenile and domestic court “service staff.”
Commented Judge Moffett: “If I put a juvenile on probation now, I’ve got nobody to supervise the probation—except maybe someone in the welfare department, and we want to get away from that. They’ve got three probation officers in Loudoun and they’ll soon have two in Fauquier. I can envision the central district office eventually being located in Fauquier, and we’ll benefit from all of this.”
“AS IT is now, the only thing we can do is turn them loose,” added George Davis.

Mrs. Frances Thornton appeared to ask that her name be withdrawn as a member of the Chapter X Regional Mental Health Council. She felt that since she was involved in this work professionally, it would be better to have a non-professional sit on the council.
