“I think that’s an overstatement,” said Newbill Miller. “There are nowhere near 1,600 untagged dogs in Rappahannock County. There are dogs I know that were untagged which are tagged now.”
The vote to hold the hearing on raising tags next month was unanimous. The county treasurer was also instructed to stop selling tags for next year until the question of the fee schedule is settled.
