The pheasant season is November 12 through November 17. One cock pheasant is allowed per day, two per year; Pheasants must be checked at an official checking station.

DEER SEASON opens November 19 and closes January 5, 1974 in Rappahannock. A two-week season is in effect west of the Blue Ridge. Rappahannock’s bag limit is one per day; two per season. Doe deer may be bagged on the last hunting day.

Bear season, opening the 12th will close December 31, 1973. The bag limit is one per license year, at least 100 pounds live weight. Females accompanied by cubs may not be killed.
