“We have been for years the Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association of Northern Virginia that serves Clarke, Fauquier, Frederic, Loudoun, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah and Warren counties, the association working in the health fields of TB, air pollution, cigarette smoking, emphysema, and other lung diseases. Our new and shorter name better reflects our central purpose.”
“Though we are known as the Virginia Lung Association, we are >still the Christmas Seal people.” Miss Wood added. “Christmas Seals work to eradicate TB and to control emphysema and other lung diseases. As you live you breathe! ”□
