TAX MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP—Farmers have a number of options still open to reduce 1973 income tax payments if they act before the first of next year. A special program developed for Rappahannock County farmers to help reduce their tax bill will be presented by Bruce Little, Area Farm Management Specialist, next Tuesday, November 13, at 1 p.m. at the Episcopal Parish Hall, Washington, Va.
Tax management is not concerned only with reducing taxes. If decisions are made and business transacted only in an effort to reduce tax, net income after taxes may actually, be lower. Frequently, there is no conflict between a wise tax decision and a good farm business decision. This session should be useful in helping you make the right decisions between now and the end of the year.C
