The children’s Halloween party sponsored by the Chester Gap Homemakers Club Tuesday evening in the Fire Hall was attended by some 100 youth of the community. Winners of the three main costume prizes awarded were: ‘ ‘Tina’ ’ Scheidegger, the prettiest’ “Buck” Williams, the ugliest; Jimmy Williams, the most unusual.□
Art League
ALL Rappahannock County artists are invited to join the new Art League which is being formed.
A meeting will be held Thursday, November 15, at 10 a.m. at the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, to discuss the purpose arid hope of a club. Painting will begin Thursday, November 29.
Persons interested in art who have never had formal training will be welcome. Beginners will be guided by more experienced members.
