AREA FRUIT GROWERS—Here is the program for a brief orchard meeting coming up Friday, December 20. Fred Drieling, V.P.I. Horticultural Specialist, will give an apple and peach tree pruning demonstration.
Dr. Ross Byers of the Winchester Research Laboratory will discuss new developments in orchard mouse control. Besides Fred and Ross, George William's and Ed Phillips will be on hand to answer questions on orchard fertilization or other timely topics.
The demonstration will be from 10-12 a.m. in the old Campbell Orchard behind the Washington Fruit Growers’packing house on Route 211. All area fruit growers are invited. □ C £3I‘
