iams’ home December 3. Following the group meeting Mrs. Frances Rudacille was honored and surprised with a birthday party. Others present were Mrs. Marie Williams, Mrs. Edith Williams, Mrs. Mary Mathena, Mrs. Evelyn Burke, Mrs: Betty Jean Lilly, Mrs. LaMerle Williams, Mrs. Carolyn Leake, Tony and Jeffery, and Mrs. Gayle Calvert.
Mr. and Mrs. James Fox and J. spent Saturday in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. R.T. Haslam of Wheeling, W.Va. was a guest in the James E. Williams home over Thanksgiving. The Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. David VonLudwig and family in Front Royal before the VonLudwigs returned to their New York abode.
Mrs. S.M. Shelton of Arlington arrived Friday to spend several days with her mother, Mrs. M.M. Chastain, who has been ill, and her sister, Mrs. A.E. Parks.
Mrs. Andrew R. Williams and Mrs. Joe Williams, Donna, and Chris, were in Purcellville the first of the week.
A Christmas program and play will be given Wednesday evening, December 18 at 7:30 in the Chester Gap Baptist Church with approximately 65 children and young people participating. The public is invited. □
