School schedule

to be changed

Monday, February 24, the first day of daylight savings time, the public schools in Rappahannock County will operate on a schedule one-half hour later. Parents are advised that school buses will arrive at regular stops a half hour later on the daylight time.

“This decision was reached in order to avoid having children in certain areas of the county walking to or waiting for buses prior to full daylight,” said O.A. Norton, Superintendent of Schools.

Rappahannock was joined in this arrangement by Culpeper, Madison and Orangfe counties.□
