A spelling correction

In my haste to get a report of last Tuesday evening’s delightful concert by the Richmond Sinfonia in the News by the Wednesday deadline, I submitted my remarks in longhand, which probably accounts for the misspellings of the word “Sinfonia.”

The correct spelling seems to me to sound phonier than the incorrect form, and would have, in all probability, failed to attract us had not the kindness of a friend, who gave us the tickets which brought my wife and me such pleasure, been the deciding factor.

We weren’t so intuitive that we would have fought our way to the Elementary School auditorium despite everything.
