Mrs. Woodard
A funeral service for Mrs. Lorena Gooch Woodard, 81, of Culpeper was held Wednesday at the Clore Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Ellis and the Rev. Leslie Napier. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
The widow of Paul Woodard, She died February 17, 1975 at her home following a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Culpeper, a member of Alum Springs Baptist Church. Her parents were the late William Pendleton and Lorena Della Smith Gooch of Culpeper County. Survivors include her son, J.P. Woodard of Culpeper; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Gore and Mrs. Monroe Bryant, both of Culpeper, and Mrs. Earl "Aylor of Fairfax; three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. □
