The second top-selling Angus at the 17th Annual Bull Test and Sale at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises was Lot 6 consigned by Zeuswyn Farm of Culpeper and purchased by C.E. Johnson Jr. of Sperry ville.
Two-thirds interest in this Emulous-bred bull brought $2,150. Lot 74 consigned by R.P. Anderson of Woodville was purchased by Ray T. Cannon of Castleton for $1,800.
C.E. Johnson Jr. of Sperryville consigned Lot 83 that brought $1,575 on the bid of R.W. Somerville of Mitchells. ,
The 17-year-old test is sponsored by the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association, which is headquartered in Blacksburg. At this year’s test, 1’56 bulls were tested and 114 of them offered for sale at auction on March 7.D
