March 31, John Parker was taken from Route 211 to Fauquier Hospital by the Amissville Rescue Squad and on April 7 this unit took S.D. Hutton from his home to Fauquier Hospital and then to Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Amissville Fire Department responded to a number of field and brush fires. March 31 a field fire at the Dixon property (formerly Luttrell); and to a chimney fire at the D.G. Laing property the same day.
