A rash of minor traffic accidents have occurred in Rappahannock, two Saturday and two Sunday.

Alson Atkins of Sperryville traveling east on Route 211 four miles west of Sperryville in a 65 Plymouth station wagon was struck by a 72 Plymouth operated by Robert Snyder of Oxon Hill, Md.

According to Trooper J.A. Watson, Snyder failed to negotiate a curve and struck Atkins. He was cited for reckless driving.

Both drivers sustained injuries and also injured were Marcella Wojdylak of Alexandria and Lauri Franklin of Adelphi, Md.

Sunday at 10:20 a.m. Trooper Watson investigated a single car crash involving Lawrence Starks of Washington. He was driving a 68 Ford south on Route 638 when he went through a fence on the farm
