Norton mentioned other new items of capital outlay; the school bus garage must be replaced, since the highway condemned it; a driver education car is needed, since dealers no longer receive manufacturers’ assistance to provide this service; and a modular classroom is needed at the high school, Norton said.
The total indebtedness for the county’s schools, after July 1, 1975, will be $706,925, at an interest rate of 3%. Local funds required for capital outlay and debt in the proposed budget amount to $82,775. Norton left each of the Supervisors a copy of the budget.□
