Sperryville Rescue Squad carried Mrs. Marie Jenkins from the James Releford home in Castletort to Culpeper Memorial March 23. March 26, Jack West was carried from Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial after jumping from the tractor and trailer that overturned on the mountain. April 5, Mrs. John Summons of Gid Brown Hollow was carried to University Hospital, Charlottesville.
Washington Rescue Squad took Haywood Dodson from home to Warren Memorial March 21. March 29, Lyle Starkes was carried to Newton D. Baker Hospital, in Martinsburg, W. Va. Mrs. Bertha Armel was carried from her home to Warren Memorial April 2. Also on that date, Mrs. J.R. Summons was carried from Gid Brown Hollow to University Hospital. April 4, James Pullen was carried from the jail to Rappahannock Clinic. April 5 the squad was called to an accident on Rt. 729 near Flint HL1 but services were not needed.
