A special use permit was granted William Carrigan, Patrick O’Connell and Reinhardt Lynch by the Town Council of Washington following a hearing Tuesday night. Application had been made requesting that the former elementary school be used for office purposes, food service facilities, guest quarters and auditorium for organized groups. A hearing was scheduled in conjunction with the regular Council meeting.
The permit was granted the three applicants with the condition that if and when it changed hands it would be subject to consideration again at that time.
