Royal to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Haslam, who are the proud parents of a daughter, Jennifer Necole, born April 2. The new mother is the former Miss Rae Williams of our community, the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Williams, and the paternal grandparents, Mrs. Ethel Haslam and the late Rev. R.T. Haslam.
Saturday Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey and Mrs. Doris Williams and son Craig escorted Chester Gap 4-H members, Kim and Kelly Gilkey, Cindy Williams, and Michelle Longmire to Madison for the Junior 4-H Demonstration Day.
Miss Lola Crane of Silver Spring, Md., and her brother, Howard Crane of Brandywine, Md., were Sunday visitors of their aunt, Mrs. Myrtle Chastain, and family at Cedarloft.
Mr. and Mrs. Ermand Morris returned Monday from Waldorf, Md. where they spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Prentiss Morris.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Burney Burnette and family of Annandale called on the Stanley Williams and the Hubert Gilkeys.
Mrs. Gracie Williams was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Reid in Culpeper and Sunday was accompanied home by Mrs. Reid and children. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wines and family of Front Royal were callers of Mrs. Williams Sunday evening. Thursday Eugene A. Pearson returned to the Veterans Hospital in Perry Point, Md., after spending a week with his sister, Mrs. Walter H. Williams, Jr., and Mr. Williams.
