Town cleaned up
Saturday, May 10, the town of Washington was cleaned by 4-H’ers. The trash collected amounted to two bags of paper, a bag of bottles, and a bag of tin cans.
4-H’ers who helped in this cleanup project were Pammy Estes, Desiree Poehler, Gregory Pullen, Melody Poehler, and Missy Pullen. “I would like to thank each one on a job well done and hope they had a fun day,” said Karen Kuhn, Extension Technician.
After the clean-up the 4-H’ers along with Karen and her friend Carol Haun from Farmville, went for a picnic in the county. □
