-FRENCH FESTIVAL
Wakefield Country Day School, Huntly, held a “Fete francaise” Friday in which all students and some parents participated. The day long program began with a translation competition, and was followed by a French film, “Bon Voyage,” a French meal, a play performed by Second Graders, a puppet show, and French songs and dances. The meal, which included authentic French foods, was prepared under the supervision of Dr. Eugene Cognon-d’HarcOurt, a native of France and senior instructor at the school. All students at Wakefield in grades 1-7 study French.□
