Talley
Clarence Talley of Arlington died May 9, 1975 at the Arlington Hospital. He was 79, and a native of Louisa County. He was a retired Washington, D.C. Police Department Inspector, equivalent to the present day rank of deputy police chief.
Mr. Talley served in France with the U.S. Army in World War I. He attended the Georgetown Law School and in 1953 became a consultant to the administrator of the Bureau of Security and Consular Affairs of the State Department.
He is survived by a brother, Percy, of Arlington.
A funeral service was held Tuesday at the Fort Myer Chapel, and burial was in Arlington National Cemetery. □
