Jay Cargill of the University of Virginia, Miss Nancy Cargill of Madison College, Harrisonburg and Miss Sharon Nance of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond were guests for the weekend of Mrs. Mary Lea. Saturday evening Mrs. Lea and her houseguests were entertained for dinner in Front Royal by Mrs. Frank Spalding of Flint Hill and Mrs. L.J. Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines entertained Sunday afternoon with a birthday party honoring their sons Bobby and Lee.

The Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist Church entertained Saturday at the Baptist Home in Culpeper celebrating all of the members birthdays falling in September. Those serving were Miss Mary Miller Wood, Mrs. L.J. Turner, Mrs. W.C. Campbell and Mrs. Guy Burke.
