Jay Cargill of the University of Virginia, Miss Nancy Cargill of Madison College, Harrisonburg and Miss Sharon Nance of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond were guests for the weekend of Mrs. Mary Lea. Saturday evening Mrs. Lea and her houseguests were entertained for dinner in Front Royal by Mrs. Frank Spalding of Flint Hill and Mrs. L.J. Turner.

Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines entertained Sunday afternoon with a birthday party honoring their sons Bobby and Lee.

Mrs. Elizabeth Conover of Hollywood, Fla. is spending this week with Mrs. Alice Wood.

The Rev. William R. Snead of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Snead of Rixeyville were recent guests of Mrs. W. C. Campbell.

Mrs. Walter Smith of Trussville is spending the week with Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Forward.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne were Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Payne and Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jenkins, Kim and T. J., all of Culpeper and Miss Patty Payne.

Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Estes were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Everett J. Estes, Sr. Joining them were Gary and Arnold Williams of Chester Gap.

Mr. and Mrs. William Nicholson, Wayne and William Jr. were last Thursday visitors of Mrs. Jack Nicholson.

Saturday dinner guests of Mrs. Gabe Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Rannie Burke, Greg and Jerry of Manassas. Her Sunday dinner guests were William Burke of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Barney Belle and Bill of Fairfax, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther and Melissa of Sperryville.

The Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist Church entertained Saturday at the Baptist Home in Culpeper celebrating all of the members birthdays falling in September. Those serving were Miss Mary Miller Wood, Mrs. L.J. Turner, Mrs. W.C. Campbell and Mrs. Guy Burke.

Sunday, Mrs. Tom Lee and son presented a program of songs at the Washington Baptist Church,
