HOMEMAKERS COUNCIL
An important meeting of the Rappahannock County Extension Homemakers Council will be held Tuesday, September 28 at 10 a.m. at the home of Mrs. Corinne DelGrosso near Flint Hill. It is imperative that each Extension Homemakers’ Club be represented at this meeting. Plans for Achievement Night, the educational programs of 1977 and other items of business will be discussed. Take a sandwich for lunch. □
Shooting matches
A series of shooting matches which will benefit the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will begin Friday, October 1, and will be held each Friday beginning at 7 p.m. at the carnival grounds in Sperryville.
Prizes given will include beef, hams, turkeys andoysters. Twelve gauge guns only will be used.D j
