THE week of September 26 will be Fine-Free-Week at the Rappahannock County Public Library, so please search your bookcases and return any of our books you might find.
Every month we receive new books, both for adults and juveniles, and recently we have been given two marvelous additions for our Virginia Shelf.
Mrs. Mildred Hofer has given us a copy of the 1850 Federal Census of Rappahannock County which she compiled and indexed, and a copy of the Register of the Rev. Silas M. Bruce for the years 1832-1881. This contains more than 480 marriages performed in Culpeper, Madison, and Rappahannock Counties.
We also have new cassettes, not only music, but such varied items as Robert Frost reading Robert Frost, Alice in Wonderland, Shakespeare, Peter Ustinov, and Pet
