Voter deadline
Citizens who wish to vote in the November election and have never registered have only a short time in which to do so. The deadline for registering is Saturday, October 2. The poll books are closed for the 30 days prior to every election.
Mrs. Mary Cleverley, registrar and her assistant, Mrs. Earl Kilby, will sit all day Saturday, September 25 and Saturday, October 2, at the registrar’s office in Rappahannock County Courthouse for the purpose of registering voters. This office is also open today, Thursday and next Thursday for registration, or by appointment. □
