The marriage of Miss Shelia Ann Fritts of Washington to Everett Jackson Estes, Jr., also of Washington was solemnized Saturday, September 11, 1976 in the Washington Baptist Church. The bride fs the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter R. Payne and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Estes are the bridegroom’s parents.
The Rev. William R. Snead of Culpeper performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with arrangements of white gladiolus and chrysanthemums and lighted candlelabra.
Mr. Payne gave the bride in marriage. She wore a formal white stain gown designed with bishop sleeves and lace bodice. Her waist length veil fell from a small white satin cap and she carried a bouquet of white daisies.
