Nancy Secrist is the new Rappahannock Home Extension agent. A resident of the county for four years, she has a degree in Home Economics from the Carnegie Institute of Technology. In ter introduction to the Board of Supervisors last week, she was described as "one of those people who comes to Rappahannock and wants to stay here.”

David Gilbert Reid, 78, of New Market died March 6. A funeral service was held Wednesday in Woodstock, conducted by the Rev. J. S. Stirman of Amissville. Interment was in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery near Churchville.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hitt of Amissville and Mrs. Annie Whetsel ofChurchville; three sons, Wallace of Manassas, Kenneth of Afton and Robert of Villa Park, 111. and four sisters; 13 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
