Naide
Mrs. Nellie Lillard Hawkins Naide of Boston died March 7, 1977 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was bora March 27, 1905, a native of Rappahannock county, the daughter of the late William Henry and Sarah Hellen Nethers Lillard.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Naide of Boston; a daughter, Mrs. Carroll T. Deal; a son, William H. Hawkins both of Arlington; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. W.B. Jenkins of Washington; three brothers, Henry Lillard of Rapidan, Harry Lillard of Boston and Nethers Lillard of Stevensburg. Another son, H. Thomas Hawkins, Jr. was killed in a plane crash in 1970.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Pallbearers will be Joe Hawkins, Jack Petty, Dowell Marshal, William Crossman, Daniel Jacobs and Harold Jenkins.
The family will receive friends at the Clore Funeral Home on Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.D
