Butler

Funeral services were held Monday for James Ashby Butler of Woodville at the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Allen Estep and the Rev. James Adkins officiating. Burial was in the Sperryville Cemetery.

Mr. Butler, 71, an employe of the Virginia Department of Highways, died Friday at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Five Forks Baptist Chruch.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vallie Corbin Butler; a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Mae Vest of Woodville; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Deal of Culpeper and Miss Lillie Butler of Culpeper.

Pallbearers were Clifton Jenkins, Steve Hawkins. Robert Howard, Rick Kohne, Bobby Foster, Ralph Butler, Lynn Atkins and George Grimsley.D
