Wakefield school
to add 9th grade
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntly has announced the addition of a ninth grade to the school’s program, beginning in September of 1977. The school now has grades one through eight, and a kindergarten and pre-schoiol program.
According to William Lynn, Wakefield’s administrator, the ninth grade curriculum will include grammar, composition and spelling (five classes per week); literature (three classes weekly); second year algebra (five classes weekly); biology (three classes and two labs weekly); 19th and 20th century world history (three classes weekly); French (three classes and two labs weekly); Latin or Ancient Greek (two classes weekly); Economics or world geo
