Priest

Francis Edward Priest of Culpeper died February 27, 1977 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. He was 73 years old, a native of Rappahannock County. He was the son of the late George Hildrup and Lina Pearl Heflin Priest, and a member of the Culpeper United Methodist Church.

He is survived by four brothers, Calvin E. Priest of Lanham, Md., Edward H. Priest of Eilicott City, Md., Raymond T. Priest of Waldorf, Md., and James G. Priest of Clinton, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. James of Black Mountain, N. C. and Mrs. Ruth M. Sandy of Staunton.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March2,1977at2p.m. in the Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper. Rev. Robert E. Hawkins conducted the services. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper. Pallbearers were George Turner, Junior Hudson, Floyd Sisk, Bob Burnett, Thomas Burnett, Arley Estes and Kenneth Weakley. □
