Frances Thornton, Rappahannock Health Department nurse, informed the Supervisors that the county wasn’t even “paying for our own time for clinic cases’’ that included an increased load from children referred by the school system.

Leiberman noted that the Chapter Ten request covered Rappahannock’s share of the total local match for funding of Mental Health, Retardation and Aging services and included an appropriation for $40 to the Aging budget.
