To the editor: I have enjoyed very much reading the issuei of your newspaper which I purchased in Sperryville during recent hiking trips to nearby Old Rag mountain. Young coverage of the challenges presented by the need to both grow and improve the quality of life in your county while preserving all those good things which are so easily destroyed is a valuable service to your community. It is my hope, and surely that of countless other hikers who enjoy the scenic beauty of your area, that the citizens of Rappahannock County will find within themselves not only the wisdom and courage, but also the patience and love for each other to chart their path through conflicting interests in the months ahead.
