Marine Staff Sergeant James Prudhum Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Prudhum Sr. of Route 1, Castleton, Va., has completed the Teletype Repair Course.
During the 11-week course at the Marine Corps Communications-Electronic
School, Twentynine Palms, Calif., students received instruction on the inspection, maintenance and repair of the teletype systems used by the Marine Corps. In classroom and practical application periods, they studied circuitry, the use of wiring diagrams, electrical repair shop procedures and related safety measures.
Prudhum joined the Marine Corps in December 1971.
