Fauquier seem to be figh^ng a losing battle against those forces that are destroying the quality of life all over America. Let us not give up the battle before we even get started. We do have grounds, good legal grounds. Let us use them.
So I ask you citizens of Rappahannock, look around'1' you. Think why you are here. If you were bom here, why did you stay? If you have more recently come here to live, why did you come? Surely it is because Rappahannock is still that special place, it is one of those places becoming more rare every day. A place where we still have the chance to build a community where people can live in harmony with each other and with the land that supports them.
