Fred Hamblen and daughter, Lara, of Greenville, N. C. spent from Thursday until Sunday with the former’s mother, Mrs. Flora Rhudy.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Leake and Jeffery were in Sperryville Monday where they visited the Woodson Leakes.
Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Atkins, Mike and Donna; Michael Ray Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Heflin and Jennifer spent a recent weekend in Roanoke, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Atkins.
Carl Longmire Sr. is reported doing well following surgery in Warren Memorial Hospital Thursday. His mother-in-law, Mrs. Edith Brooks of Baltimore, spent the weekend in the Longmire home. The date of Saturday, June 11 is set for the wedding of Miss Sharon Timmons and Michael Longmire, in the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Timmons, in Waterlick.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fox had as weekend guests, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wright, all of Richomond.
Mr. and Mrs. Lovel Walker had as Saturday visitors, Mr. and Mrs. Don Jenkins and son, Steve, of Bryans Road, Md.
Saturday visitors in the Alfred Sealock home were Mr. and Mrs. Giles Fox and Mrs. Charles Wright of Richmond; Mrs. Edward Fox, Mr. and Mrs. James Fox; Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wines; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frazier; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kreisher of Front Royal; Mrs. Hubert Gilkey III, Kim and Kelly; and Jimmy Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam North spent last week in Front Royal, the guests of their granddaughter, Mrs. Gerald Elliott, and Mr. Elliott. The Edward Goransons were Saturday afternoon visitors in the Elliott home.
