Go-ahead plans for the Rappahannock Hunt Pointto-Point races continue in spite of the weather and post time for the beginning pairs race is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11. The race course at Thornton Hill Farm, Sperryville is located south on Route 522. The race card calls for nine turf and timber races, culminated by the always interesting hound race in which there are already 80 hounds entered. The pairs race has 14 pair entered and in the new pony race there are six entries. For the feature race, the Ben Venue a total of ten horses are entered to compete for the Seven Corners trophy.
