Bridge Club

The Washington Bridge Club met Friday evening at the home of Mrs. Elmo Flynt.

Those playing were Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. Harold Scoggin, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. George Davis, Mrs. Henry M. Keyser, Mrs. Mary H. Lea and Mrs. Rayner Snead.

Prize winners were Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Keyser, Mrs. Scoggin and Mrs. Smith.

4-Her’s Meet

On February 27th, the fourth grade held its monthly 4-H meeting. President Brett Anderson opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Mrs. Smithgall demonstrated how to make a bulletin board out of styrofoam and burlap.

Plans for 4-H club summer camps were discussed; the class then made banks to save money for camp.
