Fund Raiser
A regular monthly meeting of the Rappahannock Jaycees was held Thursday evening, February 23. Business on the agenda included election of new officers and selection of projects for the coming year.
Elected to office were Ronnie Pullen, State Director; Doug Baumgardner, President; Ricky Bywaters, Internal Vice President; Maury Nichols, External Vice President; Jimmy Cannon, Treasurer; Joey Pullen, Secretary; and Mike Hitt, Assistant Secretary. Mike Paul and Stan Settle were both elected to the Board of Directors.
Several projects planned to benefit the community were discussed. Among the first will be a fund raiser, which will begin as soon as the pertinent plans are finalized.
